In the first half of 2023, aventron produced 713 GWh of renewable electricity and generated a profit of CHF 12.3 million. The production portfolio increased to 737 megawatts (prior-year period 695 megawatts).
aventron generated net revenue from renewable energy deliveries of CHF 72.8 million in the first half of 2023 (previous year CHF 77.6 million). This with an EBIT of CHF 27.2 (32.8) million. With its power plants in six countries, aventron produced 713 (676) GWh of renewable energy. As of the balance sheet date, aventron had a total portfolio of 737 (695) megawatts in Europe.
In relation to net sales, the EBITDA margin was slightly lower than in the previous year at 68.0 (71.4) percent and the EBIT margin was also 37.4 (42.2) percent. The half-year net result was CHF 12.4 (12.4) million and the half-year earnings per share were CHF 0.23 (0.23) per share. Despite lower sales, profitability was thus maintained.
For the full year 2023, the Executive Board expects net revenue to be below the previous year due to lower electricity market prices compared to the previous year. Meanwhile, the net result should be in the range of the previous year.
