aventron has successfully completed its 2020 capital increase. Cash contributions totalling CHF 55.2 million were made.
aventron is pursuing a targeted and balanced growth strategy in the area of renewable electricity production using hydro, wind and solar power. In order to achieve its goals, fresh financial resources were raised in the form of equity. The general meeting of 16 April 2020 approved the capital increase. This was carried out in compliance with the subscription rights of existing shareholders and was successfully completed on 25 June as planned. 5,258,560 new registered shares with an issue value of CHF 10.50 (at a nominal value of CHF 1.00) were subscribed and paid in cash. This brought aventron a cash inflow of CHF 55.2 million. The market capitalisation of aventron AG thus reached around 515 million francs. The pleasing result is a clear sign of confidence in aventron's positioning, development and strategy.
With the eighth capital increase, aventron was able to further expand its investor base. Crédit Mutuel Equity invested CHF 30 million, acquiring 5.8 percent of aventron AG. Long-standing aventron shareholders from the circle of Swiss institutional investors also participated in the capital increase.
The new shares are expected to be tradable for the first time on 2 July 2020 via BEKB's OTC-X. aventron is a member of the Top 50 OTC-X Index. All new registered shares of aventron are fully entitled to dividends for the 2020 financial year.
