Change from BX Swiss to over-the-counter trading at Berner Kantonalbank

The Board of Directors of aventron AG has decided to delist from the BX Swiss and to ensure that the company's shares are traded over the counter via the Berner Kantonalbank platform (www.otc-x.ch) in the future. The last trading day on BX Swiss will be 14 February 2020.

The Board of Directors of aventron AG (aventron) has decided to relist for several reasons:

Mainly institutional investors have participated in the capital increases of recent years. In addition to the energy suppliers Primeo Energie, Energie Wasser Bern and Stadtwerk Winterthur, infrastructure investors such as UBS Clean Energy Infrastructure and Reichmuth Infrastruktur Schweiz are therefore among the largest shareholders in aventron AG.
aventron intends to grow further, from around 540 megawatts today to 750 megawatts by the end of 2023. In order to secure the capital required for this expansion, the company will continue to rely primarily on the interest of external financial investors.
For institutional investors looking for an investment in the infrastructure sector, the listing of the securities on a stock exchange is not a necessity - on the contrary: the short-term volatility of the stock market contrasts with the typically long-term infrastructure investment, which is mostly detached from general market activity.
The trading volume on the BX Swiss was very low due to the majority of shareholders investing for the long term. Only a good 5% of the shares are held by small shareholders.

BX Swiss granted aventron AG's request to continue trading on BX Swiss until 14 February 2020 and to delist the shares on that date, subject to certain conditions.

Shareholders who wish to sell their shares due to the delisting can do so in the normal way via the Bern Stock Exchange BX Swiss until this date. After the delisting, private investors will be offered a comparable liquidity platform with OTC trading. The professional market making of Berner Kantonalbank also ensures minimum liquidity in OTC trading.

The Board of Directors will continue to report regularly on the course of business.
