Reichmuth Infrastructure Switzerland Fund becomes fourth-largest shareholder of aventron

aventron which has its origins in two small water power plants and several roof solar installations in Switzerland now owns over a 100 power plants in five European countries with an installed capacity of 160 MW.  With Reichmuth Infrastruktur Schweiz acquiring a 4.9% stake, another experienced institutional investor joins the shareholders of aventron.

 Since its inception, aventron concentrates on decentralized renewable power generation and thus offers an investment opportunity in ecological real assets. The company intends to take a leading position in distributed generation in Switzerland and selected European countries and to contribute significantly to the production of renewable energy.

For Reichmuth Infrastruktur Schweiz this investment is another milestone in its strategic collaboration with Swiss utility companies. Reichmuth Infrastruktur Schweiz becomes the fourth largest shareholder of aventron next to the three main Investors EBM (Genossenschaft Elektra Birseck, Münchenstein), Energie Wasser Bern (ewb) and Stadtwerk Winterthur.
