aventron has raised 131.9 million Swiss Francs in fresh capital through cash and contributions in kind.
aventron AG successfully closed its sixth, and to date largest capital increase on August 18th 2016. Shareholders equity was increased by 131.9 million Swiss Francs. 57.6 million Swiss Francs were raised in cash and 74.3 million as in-kind contributions of wind and solar power plants. Investors include a new group of Swiss pension funds. The round was joined by the utility of the City of Winterthur, Reichmuth Infrastruktur Schweiz and long-time aventron investor Quadia, a Geneva based investment manager specialized in social and environmental finance.
aventron’s cornerstone investor Swiss utility EBM, contributed with a portfolio of windparks located in Germany, France and Spain, significantly boosting the company’s wind park asset base. Second largest investor ewb, the utility of the City of Berne, contributed with solar plants in Spain and Italy supporting aventron’s growth strategy in the solar segment. Through these contributions in kind, aventron’s asset portfolio increases to 300 MW.
