aventron was able to expand its portfolio through the successful acquisition of the „parc éolien les Ballendaux” windpark in Fontenai sur Orne (Normandie). The 10 MW windpark consists of five Vestas V100 wind turbines and will be erected over the next ten months south of Argentan in the French department of Orne. Starting autumn 2017 the windpark will contribute to the aventron P&L.

The windpark was developed by the French developer IEL (Initiatives & Energies Locales) with whom aventron has realized two windparks in the past.

Eric Wagner, COO of aventron: « We are pleased to realize the third windfarm together with IEL. It confirms the model of repeated transactions with trusted partners. »

With this latest acquisition the aventron portfolio reaches 350 MW in capacity. Thus aventron is on track to achieve its goal of establishing a production park of 500 MW able to produce 1050 GWh per annum. On the basis of the current portfolio 2017 revenues are likely to grow 50% over 2016.
